Well, this is it!! 2012 has arrived and I feel like the last year passed in 2 months...where has it gone? :-)

Un temps des Fêtes bien mérité…
cette année après maintes reflexions nous avons décidé de passer un Noel dans nos pantoufles…nous avions prévu la croisière, New York à Times Square et Panama…NAH!!!! Un petit saut à Trois-Rivières, et quelques bons moments entre amis …et sérieusement, ce fut super.

Avec mes 3 gars et notre petite dernière, j’ai apprécié le moment présent! Juste profité de ce temps qui m’est donné…
Je n’ai pas pris de résolution mais j’ai dressé une liste (ça c’est bien moi!) des choses qui me tiennent à coeur…
Je commence la nouvelle année plus confiante que jamais. L’année est déjà bouquée à fond , Nous rencontrons des couples tellement Amoureux… il ne nous reste qu’à plonger dans ce bonheur!!!
Ce qui est merveilleux dans tout ça c’est que ça ne ressemble en rien à un quelquonque travail… Je fais ce que j’ai toujours voulu faire… ce qui me pasionne tant…

Our Holliday Season being so busy, I missed out on meeting some friends. What a great surprise I had receiving a hand made gift (my favorites)from Elaine. Doux Hiver, Doux Amours - Warm Winter, Warm Wedding

Il est toujours plaisant de profiter de l’hiver, 2010 par contre s’avère si doux, les températures au-dessus de zéro nous donnent l’impression de printemps. L’ile d’orléans encore une fois nous a acceuilli à bras ouverts avec ces paysages magnifiques. Nous avons même découvert un endroit superbe face aux chutes Montmorency, le Restaurant ”les Ancêtres”, aux portes de l’ile, dans une résidence tricentenaire tout à fait appropriée pour un mariage

I think we have never had such a warm winter. Temperatures above zero, sunny spring-like days! As always, l’Ile d’Orleans welcomed us for this wedding with arms wide open. The great landscapes and magnificient views are always inviting for wedding photography. Also, we have discovered a Restaurant that has to be in your next visit, ”les Ancêtres”, in a 300 year old house with the Montmorency falls in the background

Isn't it time for a Wedding in Quebec City?

Really, Quebec has never had a winter like this one. Spring coats on, no boots, no slush, no freezing fingers!!
Lately, I have met a couple of wedding photographers around the city and up in the Old Quebec, they also find it almost bizarre to have a winter wedding without the snow...
But in the other hand, it's time for long walks around Quebec, in the Petit Champlain, at the Montmorency falls and the along the St-Laurence!
Although I must admit, the Chateau Frontenac dressed in all its Christmass ornements brings a great Holliday spirit in our hearts and makes us miss the snow a little more!!

We also had the opportunity to experience the Ice Hotel and Quebec in it's coldest times! Well...Better now than ever, and we enjoyed it as well. Thanks to Eric for keeping the Car warm and bringing us from place to place!

Surrounding the Chateau Frontenac, down in the ''Petit Champlain'', in the Sun and in the Rain, we could not have been more happier photographers!Such a Romantic wedding!

Maybe it is just because it is my City, the one I grew up in and where I practice Photography for over 20 years already!!! but Quebec is still Romantic to me and I am certain any couple coming here for their wedding falls in love even more! For sure, the chateau Frontenac, as well as a several other fine Hotels have a feel of French - European mood...Photographers also, not only for weddings but for their own pleasure come to capture the Beauty of Quebec City.

Un de nos classiques! un mariage vraiment plaisant. La température était parfaite, nous avons à deux photographes, parcouru les alentours de Quebec, autour du Chateau Frontenac, etc...
Notre couple a eu droit aussi à une balade chantée par les touristes entourant la fontaine! Un beau moment pour nous aussi!

Such an intimate wedding. 2 photographers, a couple, friends and family, a really small chapel outside Quebec, an old car a priest and voilà! the rain was constant but actually, it had a fine mood to it, smooth, and loving.

By then I had the privilege of being with my loving husband. We are now photographers, as a team at each weddings. The ''team work'' and complicity makes each wedding a great moment.
There are some weddings we still talk about today. This is one of them, it took place outside Quebec City, family and friends and mostly our couple were so happy ag goofy (is that the right english word?? )

These weddings were made by myself then, some on a cruise along the Quebec coast others at the Chateau Frontenac.

This charming couple came from Singapore. The late November cold did not scare them at all. We walked the surroundings of the Chateau Frontenac, drove to the Montmorency falls and ended our journey into the Domaine of Maizeret. Their warmth had put some sun in our Cool weather.!
